Nokia Launches 1st ever fully interactive DOOH campaign on iCabTV in Singapore

In collaboration with UzoneMedia, Nokia has officially launched a new, fully interactive Digital Out Of Home (DOOH) campaign across all 1000 Taxis with iCabTV screens in Singapore. This campaign was the first of its kind because it is the first time ever that a fully interactive campaign is running on a DOOH platform in Singapore.

Traditionally, OOH media usually consists of static billboards and large format posters on the side of buildings, buses, taxis, and MRT stations. Until recently there has been a number of digital signage platforms operating in various office buildings, malls, and different outdoor venues to serve digital video ads in front of the average consumers. Unfortunately these platforms does not overcome some of the biggest issues of OOH advertising, which are measurement and accountability -- how does one measure if a person is actually watching a billboard or a digital screen? how does one ensure that an ad is being seen and absorbed by the viewer?

One of the answers is interactivity, as a person sees an ad and begin to interact with it, his mind is constantly working and processing the information on the screen thus creating a long lasting impression that every brand in the world would like to achieve in all of the advertising campaign they run. However, interactivity has always been limited to Online platforms and the downside of that is that there are so many other competing interactive ads surrounding the viewer.

iCabTV is the ONLY DOOH platform that successfully integrated the most effective Interactivity aspect of Online platform in Singapore. The following are a brief summary of the Nokia Interactive Campaign:
- Campaign Objective:
1) Build Awareness of the new Nokia E72 Launch
2) Educate consumers on new Nokia Messaging features and drive sign ups
- Campaign execution:
1) 30 sec TVC across all zones and timebelts on iCabTV
2) followed by a 45 sec interactive flash that prompts the viewer to touch the screen to discover new Nokia Messaging features.
